MICHIGAN CHAT THREAD for JUNE 2009

(Other Chapters have them, so why not?)

Hello - haven't seen any of you for a while at the Online Truck Show deal....

I had to pop this thread to yak at you guys and gals, but why limit it to that? Babble about anything your heart desires!

But hey - the Online Truck doo-hicky is going on, in a new and improved format. I wanted all of you to know that, especially the dune runners......

We are on ROUND TWO out of ten. Each round is open to all ford trucks, entries close after we have ten. Those ten become a poll of ten, and the first place winner goes on to the final championship.

Best of all - the winner of each round wins a free one year premium membership at FTE, or a one year extension on an existing premium membership. And we are talking over how to get trophies for the top three Champions....

Here is a link to the current round:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...-two-poll.html

Best regards!

Yea, nobody seems to want to chat in here. They chat in the other forums, but not here. Makes setting up an event a total pain.

CHANGE THAT FOREVER! Why not?

The advantage of a chat thread is that it focusses all the side chatter into one place - and that makes it active....

Joining the Chat.

Ok I’ll bite. What to say, what to say, what to say… well I am fairly new to FTE and the info found here has been more than I could ask for. I like the fact that I can ask a question no matter how basic and get real honest answers, without all the dealer mumbo jumbo. Thanks to FTE members! Also, I haven’t been able to wrestle the digital camera out of my wife’s hands yet for truck pics. I should be getting some this weekend so hopefully (fingers crossed) I will have some pics to upload on Monday.

Here’s my Ford history:
1984 Escort LX (gone) 1st car.
1987 Ranger XLT 2WD (gone)
1975 F250 with lots of mods (gone)
1997 Expedition E.B. 5.4l (wife’s)
1999 Escort ZX2 (wife’s and mine) great on gas!
2004 F150 SCREW Lariat 5.4l. (New to me)

Hello all, I have lurked for a while until I had to register for advice on how to fix my vehicle. Decided to come to my chapter thread and see what is goings on. I own a 96 EB Bronco that I absolutly love! It is such a shame it sucks on gas but hey I will deal with it.

Mines in. Just for fun. It will be interesting to see if anyone votes for a stock truck.

CC - if I had a second vote it would be for yours because that matching shell and the color fascinate me every time I look at it...
Stock it may be, but it's a stunning looking stock truck!

You and Suppoko should both add "VOTE FOR ME" links in your signatures.

Thanks!! I really think ARE did a great job on the cap color. I figured I would see how a stock truck added up against some modified ones. Now I know.

Sig is updated, hopefully it works.

DO this:
RIGHT click on the link in my sig for the poll, and pick the option: "COPY SHORTCUT"

Then go to your sig again and hold down the left mouse button and drag to highlight that "VOTE FOR ME" text. (It should highlight - make sure ONLY that text is covered)

Then click on the "ADD HYPERLINK" thing on top of the text block.

BE SURE YOU DELETE the "http://" that is in that line that appears, then left click in it to get a cursor at the beginning of it. OR just click in that line and delete or backspace everything away.

PRESS "Ctrl" and "V" at the same time.

The link you copied will be pasted into the hyperlink line.

-the other way to do that is RIGHT click that line, and select "PASTE"-
(But make sure you got rid of the stuff that was already there first)

Now save the changes.....

"A - B - C - D - E - F - G..."

Most people don't realise all the things they can do if they play with stuff a little. That's why I mess with stuff all the time. It's a habit! And you wonder how I dreamed up the Championship idea?

If you mess around with it a little you'll find out all kinds of cool tricks you can do!!! I mean - look at my sig... WHY IS IT IN THE CENTER?
It's simple.
I highlighted it all and clicked on the "CENTER TEXT" option.

Stuff like that.....

Suppoko should really explore all the goodies in his "USER CP". DRAT! I can't rep him again either.... A WINDSOR in that truck is ideal!!!

*I try to "REP" everyone that jumps into the entry threads....
