OK first off, back in February I had an accident involving my Truck, my Harley and my trailer. Well the trailer I fixed, the bike was totalled and insurance got me another bike, now to the truck part of this story. Below are pictures of the damage and the repair work done. I added a set of 1990 Full size Bronco Eddie Bauer Special edition bucket seats and center console. I had to cut the mounts on the bottom of the seats and weld them back on so they would sit properly in the truck. It took some doing but I got them in and working perfectly. I got them from Pull-A-Part for $21.00 each! The center console was $11.00. I also have another fender to put on but that will come later. I had to replace the drivers side fender and entire front assembly including bumper and all lighting. I used the front clip from a 1976 F150. The radiator support was bent as was the two frame supports for the radiator and bumper. With the use of a BFSH I was able to straighten everything out at no cost. The guy that sold me the front assembly had a brand new drivers side fender in the barn but it was yellow. So with the use of rattle can "leather brown" rustoleum paint, it now matches really close!! I found a replacement "F150" emblem off ebay and the remainder of the trim and molding I actually straightened it all out myself. The truck is far from perfect but I think it looks as good if not better then before I wrecked it. Let me know what you think guys..

Nice work, I can't tell you how nice it was to see the tear down, that taught me quite a bit for when I do mine!

 

The hardest part was the bolt mounts for the radiator support. The fenders are actually quite easy to remove. Some hard to reach bolts but not that bad.

 

Where did you get the grille frame?

 

from a 1976 F150.

 

I am facing a somewhat more difficult version of the same problem with my 75 F-150. The front frame horns are badly mangled and on the passenger side, bent where the engine crossmember is attached to the frame. Dare I ask what a BFSH is?
