depends on what year bronco your working on.

basicly everything will need changed. if your 302 is currently efi you would have an easier time swapping in an efi 460. but regardless this will require a big block tranny.

ok well being a 90 bronco you dont have to worry about abs and all the electrical integration like 92+ broncos.

are you planning to do the work yourself or having a shop do the work?
do you have another tranny lined up? you can keep the Tcase thats in the bronco. you might consider going to a 3/4 or 1 ton rear end and then doing an 8 lug conversion up front so your running same wheels. the 8.8 will be marginal with that much power.

what do you use the bronco for?

so the tranny out of the 78 is a C6 correct. sounds like fun. the swap has been done a lot by a lot of people. search the forums i am sure you will get specifics on this.

This should be a fairly easy swap. I recently swapped my '86 F-250 from 351w to 460. Get the L&L motor mounts and oil filter relocation kit if the filter won't clear your Bronco crossmember. Everything else should line up and be real close. Crossmember adn driveshafts will probably be the same, if not that's easy enough to fix. You'll need to ditch the in-tank fuel pump. Remove sender and cut the pump off, extend pickup to bottom of tank. Either that or run an early style carb fuel tank/pickup. Pretty much a bolt in swap.
