shaking

i was wondering what you guys might think the problem is. i know that it needs a upper intake gasket. but when im driving the truck is smooth no shaking when im accelerating and above 2000rpm. but when it drop below 2000 and gets around 1500 it will shake and stuff while driving. so ill take it out of overdrive so that it stays above 2000. when it is at idle it will shake some to. could i be just from the intake gasket or there probably more. thanks
