Does anyone have any experience with any of the "stick-on" dash kits for the newer expeditions? My GOAL is to cover up all the wood grain with some type and silver or aluminum that matches the factory trim as close as possible. I was looking at the Sherwood molded kits but hesitate to drop $300 until I know its what I am hoping for.
I have installed the wooden type overlays on various Toyota's way back when I worked as a tech and customers seemed to like them. They all pretty much come in formed to fit with 3M sticky-tape already attached to hold them down. Personally, I think thye look pretty good as long as you have it matched up well color-wise to the interior or your trim colors. The cost may seem steep, but a 15 piece kit for that money isn't all that bad. I've seen many other kits with half the number of pieces for about the same price.
