a/c blows cold but, then blows like the heat is on
Okay, I have checked the clutch issue and I have read the sticky damper door thread but, non of these seem to fit my problem?
The a/c blows cold when it has a mind too but, in a mere few seconds it will blow like you turned the temp control to boil. go a little while then the a/c blows ice cold again. The compressor never misses a beat on the the back and forth.
Any help would be great!
I am headed out with the family for a 1500 mile trip in two weeks and a/c would keep the masses happy!

I have uploaded pics of the dash removal and pics of the new blend door and actuator.
I have more pics if anyone wants to see them so, you know whether or not this is a job for you!
You'll find them in my gallery

Sorry it took so long to reply!
I have not had email for about 3 weeks!
The over all project took a good 8 hours over 2 days.
chances are it is the blend motor and not the blend door.
that can be done without removing everything. It is accessible under the blend box on the hump. You can start there and try that first but, the motor is he expensive part and the blend door not so much. good luck if you haven't started yet and if you have completed it let me know how it turned out!

I looked for the pics in your gallery but it says you don't have any.

Gee, you just wandered in the door and that was all YOU had to contribute?
Good luck on your future projects. Perhaps someone else will take pity on you, but it won't be me!
