Do you have the extended warranty?

I have been debating on whether or not to get the Ford ESP on my 08 expy. With the luck(not good) I have had and the fact I plan on keeping it at least 4-5 more years, I figure I should. I was looking at the 5/100,000 Premium with $100 deductible for $1,035.

Do you guys have the ESP?

I don't, spent all I had available at the time for the expy. But with all the stuff on this ride, I'm getting it as soon as I can afford it.

I bought my ESP online for my 07 last year. We just hit 32k. I think I paid about that. Plus they had no payment no interest for six month.

I transferred my ESP from my F-150 when I traded it in on the 07 Expy. I'm covered for 72 months or 72K miles. Like others have posted I have the premium care with rental, $100 deductible. With all the electroninices on this truck I didnt want to risk it.

I had the Premiumcare on my 2006 F-150. Awesome.

You drop her off, and pick up when it's ready. Pay your $100 and leave.

No paperwork, no waiting to hear if the Warranty Company will honor the warranty. Very easy and pretty seamless

IMO, get the Ford ESP or nothing

I haven't cancled it yet, but keep meaning to...so I can just transfer it over?

I said transfer but what I mean by that is I canceled my existing ESP, got back $873 then paid $990 for the new ESP so it was close to a wash. I had only had my ESP on the F-150 for 2 months before trading it in.

Dealer handled it all for me, infact I got my refund back on my credit card just this week

We got the premium pkg on our 07 EL. I dont recall what we paid, will have to dig out the paperwork. Seems that they were trying to make a "racehorse" deal (yea, I know, grab your A##) and didnt charge a whole lot for it. It has been my practice for many years to not purchase extra warranties, but with all the electronics we went the cautious route and purchased one. Got a bit of a blast when I found out that the alignment cam assemblies are considered "maintanence" items and not covered. I already did a rant about that in another post-----

I would your refund is prorated for how long its in use, so the sooner you cancel the more refund money you get back, then you can apply that towards your new ESP. That's what I did.

Since yours is brand new you might even wait til you get close to your three years or 36,000 miles. When I bought my F-150 ESP I had 34K miles and three months left before factory warranty was up.

cam alignment is not listed in the maintenance guide. The warranty states all internal components. Seems like the dealer was trying to scrw you.

I just went to Ford Extended Warranty - Genuine Ford ESP, on my 09 Expy EB, prem.care 100 deduc. is 1230.00. They emailed me a code for 185.00 off, 1045 total. Oh that's for 72 months and 100,000 miles.

If you go to website, be sure it's warrantys, warranty will take you to a ford dealer.

$530 for 6yrs & 48,000 miles for Premiumcare ESP

but I intend to be stationed here in Hawaii until 2014-2015...and I might drive 10,000 miles in 1 yr...maybe. I only drove my F-150 7,000 miles in 1.5 yrs since I got stationed here

btw the codes are only different by $5.00

49976 - $185.00 off
58649 - $180.00 off

thanks guys. I appreciate the info

Don't forget Tylus, you have the 5/60,000 power train already. Must be nice to only drive 10K a year! I put 27K in one year with my Expy.

Also email this guy for a quote. TDietrich@FD-Warranty.com. Troy can get the Ford ESP for a bit cheaper than I could even with the code. Many on this site are happy with him.
