damn man...a local 4x4 shop did the same crap to a user here about 1 yr back. He was lucky enough they only took his rims/tires and messed up the lock cylinder

question is: is the Dealership responsible for the truck since it was stolen off their lot?

After all you have been through you should get all you can from the insurance, and the dealership, or Ford, should pick up the rest for a new truck. This would be a PR kick in the nuts for Ford since they are riding on being around for the customers when problems arise right now.

Lightbulb old engine

My son was wondering if your older engine was still available LOL? I told him that it probably was part of the core charge. He was thinking about his 64 F100 to put that in, but then I told him all the stuff that when on with this. Have you heard anything else yet? Seems like your going to have a busy weekend, . . GOODLUCK, You may have to consider having a couple a extra ones this weekend, . . .

More I can't believe its gone...

I found out that they broke through three sections to get to my vehicle in seven minutes. Of course leaving the keys in my vehicle made it very easy. I'm presently looking for a lawyer. I did send my story to a local news station before the vehicle theft situation but they haven't responded as of yet. I'm going to send another email tomorrow! The guys that stole my vehicle actually drove by the dealership the next day according to the dealership. they gave chase and called 911 but the wonderfull police took an hour to get there and supposedly they couldn't catch up. They didn't catch them. On last Friday they found my truck outside a trailer park and I believe in a ditch. Needless to say it's pretty beat up inside and out. Looks like that they rammed everything and drove over something really big. Front end damage. 80 % of the body panels are damage. The exhaust is completely ripped off and wrapped around the rear axle. I'm very surprised the air bags didn't deploy. I'll post some pics later. I still can't believe it...

Doesnt the dealership have insurance for theft since they had the truck. Its been one nightmare after another for you. Makes you lose faith in the world. Sounds like to me this dealership is on thin ice an there rep is going down fast. Places like this shouldnt be in business.Id say you should be out nothing the truck was in there hands they left the keys in it.

I'm with you! They're very quiet but i was told by them that they normally don't do anything. They just let the owners insurance do whatever...

I wish you the best of luck man. IMO that truck should be totalled out.

Are your rims in okay shape? didn't see any flat tires, so they might be salvageable.

That's what I'm thinking too! The rims are scratched up. Insurance assessment some time this week. I'll be there since I had several mods to make it unique... If by chance they want to fix it, I want all new panels/bed. There under carriage damage as well. I wish I could have caught them. Well maybe not because I would be writing letters from a metal box with bars.

These clowns are from the Orange Park area. JSO just called me today because now they want to take prints off my vehicle???? That's something that should be done initially. LOL. Well it appears these clowns not only attempted to burglarize a flee market but they did added atm theft to the list. JSO has them on video with my truck. I guess better late than never! The way this has turned out for me, I' wouldn't be surprised if they pulled up to my house wanting to know my whereabouts... LOL. All i can do at this point is laugh. I'm so ready to wake up from this nitemare!
