Paint everything you can while it's apart, frame and all. It'd suck to want to put rust preventative and paint on parts you can't get too with the body and bed on later.

This is all to familiar to my winter last year. Look up project flareside rebuild. Chassis saver was my favorite stuff. Frame, leaf springs, bottom of cab, bottom of bed... inside fenders. EVERYTHING

That core support looks pretty damn close to the color that my truck is going to end up being. As long as the paint didnt freeze this winter.

Looking great!... A little tip to anyone painting interior pcs. Get you some Krylon Fusion, it's made for painting plastic and is extremely easy to use and it comes out great. I painted my door panels 3 or 4 years ago and its been closed up in the summer sun for long periods of time. No fading and not a sign of chipping or peeling.
When you do it tho, I took some steel wool and went over the entire piece and then wiped it down with paint thinner to remove any armorall that may heave still been on it.
