NP 435 on NP 205

I have a NP 435 tranny out of a 65' F-250. It has a divorced transfer case on in, which I do not like. I have a NP 205 transfer case laying around and I was wondering if there is an adapter that I can get to bolt them up. I don't want a divorced tranny and transfer case anymore. If anyone knows if there's an adapter to make them bolt up, and where to get it, i'd appriciate it.

i am pretty sure that there is a differance in the divorced transfercases and non-divorced trandfercases. and there is a part that takes the place of the tailshaft housing.

I'm not sure what kind of transfer case is on there right now. I think it's a borg warner, but I'm not positive.

There are two things I can think of that you will need.
1. I do believe you will need a different output shaft for the trans. They had different out puts for the divorced mount and the direct mount.

2. Then you will need the trans to xfer case adapter, which can be found at a junk yard.

How much of a pain in the *** is it to change to output shaft??? I'm sure I can figure it out but I was just wondering. I should be able to pick up an output shaft at the local NAPA shouldn't I?
