That frame looks great - did you use the POR15 or something else?

i dunno what's more impressive to me- the super-high quality of your work or the fact that you've done it in the amount of time it's taken me to install a couple of electrical components. keep the photos coming, it's really inspiring!

Thanks for the complement guys. I pride myself on detail. Don't forget i'm laid off so i have all the time in the world to do this right. The plan was to have it done for Truck Carlisle but it does not look like that is going to happen, Maybe the cab/nose and chassis. But not the bed or full interior

got the engine/trans/t-case all degreased, put in rubber VC gaskets, and painted today.

Anyone know what color the engine oil dipstick is supposed to be?

Why don't your valve covers say "Powered By Ford"?

It was a remaned crate engine from the original owner. It was black.
So maybe the valve covers were switched at the machine shop?

That's an amazing fleet. I'd love to have just one. More proof that you've committed yourself to doing it right...

My first love it the 80-86 style. I would love to get a bumpside but to find one worth restoring for not an arm and a leg is hard. I'm just not a 70' Fan. I can appreciate them but they are just not my thing.

But i do have to admit, The 84 f150,97 f150 and the Superduty i sold in the fall. I replaced the 97 w a ford probe for commuting 100+ miles a day. I actually traded my Superduty for a Outdoor wood furnace and a boat load of cash. And i replaced the Superduty w this from Oregon. F250 6.9 4spd 6" lift 37" tries. No rust

I don't know what year they stopped but I believe 79's only had Ford stamped on them, not powered by Ford.

Great job on the resto to!

Thanks for the pics. You're doing a great job. Other than the paint being a GM Color it's a real nice color. The engine/tranny/t-case look great also.

I may be wrong but i dont think they put those type covers on a 351m/400. I could be wrong but the couple dozen ive had never had those.

Ok so apparently some small minded people dont understand that the truck in this signature is a combination of many sarcasims. Please quit being stupid and study up before you run your mouth about it.
