probably an accedental slip of the hydrolic controlls. those tractors controlls can be touchy sometimes.

That's a PA cab for you. Rust is such a huge problem on anything...I have to get 2 doglegs cut in and welded on my Explorer because of it.
Looking good, Brad. Should come together really well when it's all done.

Still dreaming about money...and waiting for the project$ to $pend it on...
That sounds about right, I just had my doors off and stripped to the metal. They were about the same weight.
The truck is looking great!
On a side note. Do you have any pictures and specifics on how you repaired the hole in the top of the cab that the CB antenna went through? I have the same hole to repair.
The hole was approx 1" diameter. I took a 3" square piece of sheet metal, then covered the whole piece w panel adhesive. stuck it in place on the inside, wedged it tight into place using some paint sticks between it and the support in the roof. I let it sit for 24 hours . The panel adhesive not only glued the patch to the inside of the roof, it also "filled" the hole itsself. I just sanded the glue down from the out side and a skim coat of finishing glaze. No heat from welding to warp the roof and nowhere to start rust.
The frame was power washed, grinded down, powerwashed again, rolled in the garage, wheels off, cleaned the drums and front brake hardware, Then whiped down and sprayed. Took almost a gallon!
