I'd like this to go "FULLBORE" soon - with people thinking about what they can do and going for it. Anything is possible....

And a truly wild truck speaks for itself. The owner needs to pipe up too.

I said that before - "PLAYERSHIP"

Where are those rides and their owners? It's time to light that fuze..........

I know there are future prospects in MICHIGAN~ DUNE RUNNERS! Also in Louisianna. TEXAS! All over the place.....

This is an unlimited contest if we get everyone in it.

And just about anything is allowed.

Bring it on...... The next round comes up soon.

Do everything you can to MAKE your truck win!!!!

That's what it's all about - win with whatever you've got!

Do you see the whole picture now? It's up to you - the truck by itself is not enough. You need to get in there and make it happen.

This contest will be won by a ford truck owner with the indomitable will of Robert E. Howards "CONAN", nothing less.

Hark back to this:
Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - View Single Post - We're doing it! FTE Online Truck Contests are coming back

It remains the same. The rules are wide open and unchanged despite fits of unrest. We do this this way as not only truck owners and drivers, but FTE people as well. We do this out of pure gamesmanship, and sport.

We do this to have fun

We also do this because we love to look on eachothers trucks

All of them are FINE...

*BANGS GAVEL*

If I can have everybodies attention for a second please? Thank you.

I have just gotten word back from IB Adrian - yes there are going to a limited number of prizes for the contest. They are specifically one year free "supporter" level memberships at FTE for the first place finishers in each round. Those are the paid memberships that grant access to additional features at FTE such as the the Club FTE Members Only Forum.

Those who are already paying members would recieve a year extension on the membership they already have.

We (the contest committee) may also decide to appoint a treasurer and find some way to pass the hat or something to put together some kind of prizes for the championship at the end of the ten round set. Don't know yet, we haven't talked about it. It just occured to me tonight. It seems like there ought to be a way to do something along those lines though. I can't spend a lot, but I'd be happy to throw some beer money at it if Steve or someone has a handle on a trophy shop and volunteers to manage donations.

But there it is! Confirmed by PM just last evening. NOW who wants to play???

Thanks for the rep, too. I'm giving you one also

Watch out for an "entry" thread for round 3 as soon as this poll closes. Once that thread opens, you can post your picture.

Thank You, Dutch, IB Adrian, Internet Brands, and everyone that have and will participate in the 2009 FTE Online Championship.

It was by chance that I found the first round while "trolling" through all the great information to be found in this forum. While I am a harmless troll, I have attempted to give back to others from what I have learned from all the tremendously helpful people on this forum.

I could have stayed a free registered user but had gotten so much in return the first month of being a part of this place that I wanted to give back a small portion of what I had saved to the site that made it all worth while.

Also there are many, many, people here that embrace anyone who stumbles into a thread as if they were family, without judgment, or prejudice toward them and help them with any question they may have, and give them the answers that they seek.

Most people hide there identities because of the fear of the Internet, which is justifiably so, and then there are so many others who openly share their lives and dreams to a group of people they know only through a Ford Truck web site and possible chance for a face to face "Get together" to form bonds that are usually only seen in small towns or close knit organizations.

That's got to say a lot about the type of place this really is, and I am honored to be part of it and amazed to have been given this award.

OK off soap box....Thanks a bunch, your all the greatest.....
