I have the boxing plates and mustang II crossmember ready to be welded in my 55', but I still have the stock suspension there. Would it be possible to leave it just so that I can still roll the truck around the garage, untill I get the other parts for the front suspension? The crossmember looks like it will clear the straight axle, I was just wondering if anybody has done this before. Thanks for any help.
