Good afternoon all. Been busy today and no time to BS. Seems to be a re-occurrence on Wednesdays. Pat, my yard is not big enough for a riding mower either but it is fun driving it. Looks like the upgrades trimmed a lot of fat off of the chapter forums. Only like 5 threads in Wyoming left.

Good Morning Wyoming and Pat. Scott, the pick looks good. i wish I could figure it out now that I can't hot link photobucket. Took the truck out yesterday. Did some shakedown and ran a 11.86 as the best. Seems like 2nd gear is going out. Glad a new tranny and converter is only $3k. Who needs retirement.

Thanks for the kudos... I finally got around to taking pics of my truck now that I've had it for almost two years! Miles, I'd be happy to walk you through getting your pic on there when I have a few more minutes. I'll see if I can't post the steps, in detail for ya.
Sorry to hear about the tranny... unfortunately, that's how it goes. If you wanna play, you're gonna have to pay!

I figured it might happen though. The engine should be making about 700 hp. We have been running the tranny for 7 years now with engines ranging from 400-700 hp. The first 5 years all it had was clean fluid and a B&M shift kit. It now has good Alto Red Eagle clutches and Kolene Steels but i think it might just not be enough trans for the application. The converter is a TORCO. The guy on the phone said the "TORCO" brand is not well known but at their factory they make the converters for a very well known company. It is also 7 years old. The worst part is a good converter is as much as a good transmission.
