We used to always do a summer pig-roast picnic for our 4th of July celebration...been a number of years since that though and any number of reasons why they don't happen any longer. Was great eating though.

i moved 1700 miles almost 6 years ago. i lived in omaha for 42 years. then i met my wife! and she came down and got me!!! i was a tractor/trailer mechanic at werner enterpises
at the time! i took the greyhound out here! it was a year and a half before we, me and my wife drove the ranger down to get my stuff, mostly my tools, my car and parts,what little furniture i had, and i donated my old dodge truck to goodwill!

Jack - it's odd you mention that...about 13 years or so ago, my sister and her now ex-husband lived in Omaha. I went out there for my nephew's first birthday and we toured the Zoo and a bunch of other places.

Morning Steve and others as they slowly drag in, coffee is brewing and the bottle of jack is right beside the pot. About time to kick off another week of celebration, starting with Wednesday July 1st Canada Day and then on Saturday the 4th of July with Independence Day, going to be lots of fireworks and beer and somebody for sure yelling "Hey y'all watch this"
