Thanks, I am thinking positive, havin a not too bad day, he is here getting his stuff, he is going to get my bronco running tomorrow, put in tranny, starter, etc, so that is one positive thing, and I have decided as he is in BC until Saturday, that I am going to let him spend as much time with my son as he wants, for my son's sake of course, he is the only daddy he has really had, and I feel at this point it may benefit him to have some quality time with him, they can talk, my son does understand he does not want to be part of the family anymore, just not sure he really understands why, although I have drilled it into his head it is not his fault....so going to do this for my son....as he really needs that man/boy time. Will see after the first visit though how he is and then decide if they will continue or not, I am trying to be the bigger person here.


Hell, he even brought me timmies this morning, so gotta give him credit for that lol

Val, keep your chin up and it looks like you have a positive attitude there.

 

Val, I'm sorry to hear this. It's always tough splitting up, but it's even tougher with kids involved. I hope you'll be able to find someone who can make both you and your son happy. Like Neil said, keep your chin up, things will be better!
