I use 3M 08308 heavy body sealer...it's a little pricey but it's bulletproof.

I'd go for a 2 part seam sealer like SEM or Fusor.....they dont shrink like the cheap stuff. Check with your paint store. T/M

I'd suggest SEM 39387 self leveling seam sealer. Not cheap but the best. Specifically designed for use in rain gutters. SEM Products - Catalog
Might want to browse their other products as well.
Looking real good!

I dont like mine fully shaved a little trim works for me.
I plan on using the chrome trim from mid fifty...anyone put it on?
I bought it, the only bend it has is on the tail...the rest it looks like you bend
it as you put it on...looks like it just clips over the existing rail I'm not sure if
I should try to glue it on?
Thanks ax for the link that looks like it will do the job have you ever used it?
Do you know what color it is?

It's grey, but meant to be painted. You will need the special dual cylinder mixing dispenser gun.
