The stick-on ones are tacky as all get out, even if you paint them. If you're gonna do it, do it right. The cowl replacement hoods are my favorite, alot of guy prefer the ram air hoods with the "nostrils".

This is from suncoast creations, most of the other manufs are doing a similar style. It looks good in the pictures, but I haven't seen anything in person I liked.

I have the suncoast creations ram air hood. The other company listed with square nostrills is really horrible looking in person brakes up the smoothed lines of the truck. I know a local guy that has it and wish he spent the extra money on the suncoast hood. Plus the suncoast hood has a fuctional ram air setup which does seem to help some.

The Keystone hood is functional if you buy the kit to funnel the air to the air filter.

I think you may have ordered the wrong color.

With the issues we had with fiberglass hoods, I firmly believe in buying it in the white and fitting it before painting. It's not a bad idea to go through the heat soak process before final fitting and painting.

Yea fiberglass hoods have been known to be tricky with fitment. I have owned a few and all were cervini's. Must say they make a very nice hood, never had any major problems with them. I decided on the suncoast just because it exstended to the outer lines of the grill. Which in my opinion looks a lot more fitting. The suncoast hood was of very high quality and fitment was perfect. Even after a month on the truck for a heat cycle. Now it's being put on today.
