Got the floor and cab supports done, motor back from the rebuild shop and painted. Since the pictures were taken, the cab bottom was painted and the cab flipped back to start on the rear corners. Now to just to find the time to work on it. Summers starting and the fish are bitting!!!

Very nice job. Too bad it's on the bottom and no one will get to see it. Before long, you will be able to take your truck fishing with you.

nice fix. on your rear corners, are you repairing existing steel, fabricating your own corners or did you get aftermarket replacements? if you went with aftermarket parts did you have any trouble lining up the new corners to the body?

I got my rear corners from Carpenters. They will require some work as they were not stamped perfect. The fit is OK so far. I've only started on the first one. I had to use the whole patch because that corner had been hit at one time. The PO used 3/4" thick bondo to fix it. After I welded it in I had to shrink it a bit because I had an oil can effect on the back of the cab.The door side of the new corner has a more pronounced curve so I will have to use more bondo to even it out.
