95 4.0 dies 3/4 throttle?

Sorry did a search couldent find anything. I have a 95 4.0 ranger the other night it lost all power on the highway and I had her towed home. When I got to looking at it the next day it would just slightly go down the street under its own power, give it more gas and it dies. It got a little better when it warmed up. I replaced the TPS that was my 1st assumption and for grins replaced the crank sensor both new parts fresh from the store. The throttle responce got a tad better now at 3/4 throttle it starts to chug and just wont go. The engine doesent die it picks back up when you let off the gas. Fuel pressure is steady 30-35 PSI I think my guage is 5 PSI off so its telling me 30 and driving the pressure doesent drop. Any suggestions? I no longer have a scanner so I cant see whats going on. I did also get another replacment tps for grins and the problem is still there.

I've seen similar behavior on mine when one of the vacuum hoses came off.

A paper clip is all that is required to pull any trouble codes. I'd probably pull codes just to see if the computer is seeing a problem.

Ive got a code scanner for these it always seems like a waste of time since they have 20 bs codes at any given time even when running perfectly. Im going to get a scanner from a friend and see if I can map the TPS I think if i dident get 2 bad sensors Ive got a break somewhere.
