Here we sit waiting again We saw the Dr yesterday, he actually gave a little hope. We have another test or two this week and then back home to try another round of chemo. If this fails, the next step is clinical trials, non-FDA approved drugs, so more or less guinea pig time. We have a 6:20AM Cat scan this morning, but had to catch the UT police shuttle at 5:15 to get here......hmm.....wonder if I can get a nap after this Donna is sitting here giving everyone looks, no coffee and early wake-up doesn't make her happy.
More later, Jeff & Donna

We're back home. Decided to take Donna to Ardmore OK to see her Dad and brothers while we were out. Spent a few days there and now back home.
We go to LR tomorrow for a proceedure to draw fluid from around her lungs and then start the new chemo Tuesday. Hopefully this will do some good. The scans and Dr's reports were not good, tumors still growing and spreading. She's having a hard time breathing, but I was able to borrow an oxygen concentrator from my sister today, it really seems to help. I think the Dr. will prescribe oxygen this week, the Dr. in Houston said she needed it when we were there.
We are to go through 2 treatments, 3 weeks apart and then back to Houston for another round of scans. If this doesn't help, it is time for experimental treatment. We are also looking into alternative treatments, some actually look very promising.

Morris, life must go on, although you don't feel like it does at the moment. My wife and I had plans to travel and see this country when she was able to retire next year, so I can relate to your statement.
Hang in there my friend, Jeff
