I took a look at this board and thank its great. I am a recent FORD Owner. I was part of the Dark Side with a 1997 Camaro SS, 1999 Trans Am and 1971 Chevy Stepside. However, I have now seen the light. I bought a 2001 FXD Super Glide and saw the Harley Davidson F-150 and the rest is history. I don't even own a GM product now.
My question is, I have only put roughly 360 miles on my truck and have already went through a tank and a half of fuel. (37.5 Gallons) I realize this is a truck but thats less than 10 miles per gallon. Has anyone seen this with their 5.4 w/ 3.55 Limited Slip and was it normal. Maybe mine is not running right. Thanks in advance.

I've got a '99 Lariat SC w/5.4, 3.55, 2wd
normally I get 14.0 - 14.5 mpg around town, 15.5 - 15.8 on hwy.
if after 1500 - 2000 mi or so you're still getting in the 10's, get it checked out
I have heard the bad break-in mileage thing too many times
to discount it. The dealer should have said something about it though. I'm sure it will get better once all the parts get seated properly, good luck,,,98
