New to the site, just picked up a new 2008 Foose F150 a couple of weeks ago and have been mostly pleased with it, but as is usually the case with me I'm already looking for more out of it. Anybody know how much boost these things run stock? So far the only thing I've done to it is have the stripes taken off. Let me know what you think.
talk to him about running 8 psi of boost and custom tunes...he is pretty much considered the Premier Tuner for the 04-08 5.4 3v motor.
the site admin, FTE Ken has a 2006 version of your motor/charger combo. He is pushing 400 + RWHP...you can make some awesome power with your motor...all with just simple bolt-ons.
btw, pretty truck

I'd like to see ken chime in here...curious as to know what "simple" bolt on's he has that got him to 400hp at the ground. Ive got the stage one kit with troyers tune and Im not even close to there. What else does he have? not being vindictive, wanna know for my own personal gain.
Nice truck btw, I was stuck between the foose ans Saleen when looking fo rmine but just couldnt make myself like the red stitching in the interior of the Fx's. Sweet ride though, good move on the stripes!
Just got off the phone with Mike....real good guy, can't wait to get some stuff ordered from him in the coming weeks. He said that to get anything past about 375 rwhp you need to upgrade the fuel system. I am going to just do the tune first so I can get rid of the top speed limiter and help the shifts out so I can run the 18's with 295/45's and not mess up my shift points, odometer, etc. Next steps will be lower pulley, fuel system, then long tubes which should really wake the truck up, especially with the 18's and a little 100 octane!!!!
Mike at Troyer is a genius. You are in good hands. You will love the long tube headers. Think about Mike's electic fan kit as well - when you get all the weight of the clutch fan of the front of the engine, the throttle response is amazing. Great truck, have fun with it.

FTE Ken also had a tranny made up for him. Did Foose do anything to the trannies on those trucks?

oh yeah, I ran a 14.68@89.5 and two runs of 14.72@92.5. Not sure how I picked up 3mph, but slowed down .05. I was really hoping to be in the 14.5x range with it, but maybe next time, it is pretty hot here in the Houston area right now.
