Garrett 1.0 Turbine Housing

I just put my 1.0 housing off of my GTP38R BB Turbo in the classified. As most of you know I put the 1.15 housing on before I put the turbo on my truck. So if you are interested just let me know. This should be a good up grade for some one especially if you pull loads it will help the EGT's
PM me

Ron I think this 1.0 exhaust housing should just be a replacement I looked it up on line and that's what they say. And I went down in the garage and looked at it and my stock turbo it looks like a fit to me I know a few others have made this swap. But I will check and make for sure.

Mike It should go pretty quick. Big RED is doing great for now.

Ron this housing will fit the stock turbo its a direct replacement. Some will put the 1.0 housing and a WW on for a nice turbo upgrade you know it will help the EGT's also.

I wonder if it would fit an early bird turbo...

Thats a good question, was wondering the same thing if it would work on Dan's(Ratrod) early bird with the ATS housing... The 38R won't work as you all know..

I'm pretty sure it won't work because the early birds have a different bolt pattern, IIRC.

I thought that was just on the compressor housing, I wasn't sure if the exhaust housing was different too.

No I don't think its gonna work with an early 99 turbo. For one thing, the up pipes are different and I don't think Early 99-ers have the babies butt. You're best off Chase to find a whole turbo/up piples/intake spider etc and convert yours over..

Oh hey, I'm gonna be pulling my 38R off soon along with my new bellowed up pipes etc too by the way

I was just wondering for general info. Early's do use the baby's butt, but its different than the late model.
So did you get your new turbo ordered yet?
