DTC Codes C1155, P1408, P1703

So, the ABS light has been one for a few months now. I bought a OBDII/ABS scanner and C1155 is the reported problem, left front wheel sensor circuit failure. I figure that means it's the speed sensor on the front left side tire. Not a huge problem in replacing it, just really didn't want to take the hub apart but it sames necessary to access sensor bolts which are covered by the rotor.

While playing around with the scanner, I ran the KOER test and got errors P1408 EGR Out of Self Test Range and P1703, Brake On/Off Out Of Range. Those two items I don't have a clue on where to start. Can any of you provide a starting point for resolving them?

Just find out the P1703 is because you need to press the brake pedal once during the test.

I was also getting a P1780, for that one you need to turn the overdrive on / off once during the test.

Still getting the P1408 EGR one however.

My 2004 E350 just popped the ABS light. Would you mind telling us what reader you bought?

It's an innova 3150.

Replaced the front left wheel sensor and that problem (ABS light) was corrected.
