Has any one used DJM drop shackles?

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the second hole you use for the most drop?
If that is the case, why are the DJM shackles advertised for 2" when it only drops it down 1"?
The reason for all the questions is because I just bought those same drop shackles, but I want my truck to have the same stance as your SECOND picture.
I am not sure if I should use the first or second hole to get the stance you had in your SECOND picture. Right now, my truck looks just like yours did in your FIRST picture.

To Lew: That's sucks. So in the lowest hole the shackle offers it only lowered your rear one inch?
I don't care for rake and one inch is better than stock to me but I'd prefer two
I wonder if this is typical of djm shackles?
Any ideas? I like the idea of shackles as a less invasive less involved way to level it up

On the DJM shackles there are two holes , if you use the top hole it will give you a 2in drop , the bottom hole will give you a 1in drop , if you use the hangers that will give you a 2in drop , so if you use the hangers and shackles that will give you a 3-4 in drop depending on what hole you use on the shackle , you can use a flip kit that will give you 5in drop , so you can go any where from one to five inchs of drop depending on what you use.....I have the 4in drop on my truck , with 2in drop coils in the front...Lew

If I do just the shackles in the two inch drop hole with the rest of the suspension stock, will I need to bother with shims for the pinion angle?
Sorry to sound redundant, I'm just trying to get this mess
Figured out before I spend money
Thanks for your patience
