Bolt a Hemi into your '48 - '52 F-Series!!!!

Check out the last post on this thread:
Technical Early Hemi to Ford Flatty Biscuit Motor Mounts (HURST/knock-off) - THE H.A.M.B.

Gary actually had some made! 1- pairs of motor mounts (almost reproductions of the old Hurst Adjust-A-Torque conversion mounts) that let you literally BOLT IN a 331, 354, or 392 Hemi into almost the exact stock location that the original flathead came out of, using the same stock motor mount locations!!!

Pretty slick...

Well Jason, I've never worked on a Mopar engine befroe so it's hard for me to get excited about it - now a 427 SCJ ok.

At least you had the good taste not to talk about SBCs - thank you.

Admittedly, I've never been much of a post-'53 Ford-ie... at least engine-wise.

I actually answer questions about polyspherical engines Chrysler made from about '56 - '66 for people from all over the world, and am an active member of the Polyspherical Engine Association. LOL!

So yeah... it was only nayural I'd cross over into the Hemi world someday. And hell, my IND56 Industrial Hemi is a perfect fit for my F2, putting it in prime shape to be a tow/snowplow/daily rig.

As much as I like to dog the SBC, I do have to say that folks that run 'em do tend to drive on by the overheated flatty folks and continue on their journey. And if they break down, any parts house does have their stuff right on the shelf...

Anyone driving an "overheated flatty" shouldn't be driving it or for that matter any other motor vehicle.

Also I have seen a number of "Hemi's" throwup all over themselves in the last half century or so. (NOTE: I didn't limit it to MOPARS Ol' George lunched a few.)

I LOVE THEM HEMIS.....and one in a 56 f100 would be way cool. I may just do that in one of my trucks. I am in limbo now,and just sold a 56f100 frame to a company in NEW YORK CITY and it was nice......so now I have to blast another of my trucks and maybe instead of a yblock....a hemi would make me smile........wow ....got a hemi...yep!!! here is a 1953 F-100 with a Hemi listed in the Los Angeles Craigslist.PostingID: 1196048800. Comes with a spare rebuilt Hemi, I don't know much about Hemis but 2 for the price of one sounds pretty good if a guy was in the market for one.

I would put a hemi in my truck long before a ch"!/ but of course I understand the cost and othervfactors that play a role in what you use.
