I have seen really good numbers with edelbrock victor heads and the Blue Thunder Street heads. Check out the classifieds at 460ford.com. Those guys are always selling and upgrading.
I agree that the extra money would be money well spent if you have it to spend. Unfortunately, I don't so I get stuck with the 40 year old cast iron junk.

Yeah. I'm in no rush to "build " my puller. I just tore it down to put a new frame and D60 in the front. Need some body panels and a good place to hide weight in the front since the street class is not allowed weight outside the truck. Think i'm gonna lead fill the front bumper
