What would you want for your 6 disc changer?

No I don't have any pics. I've gone thru this before. I don't know if they have the same plugs over the different years. It's a radio. They made the new one I bought work. They put them in anything that it will fit in and make it work.

I know they can put anything in anything. I could probably do it myself with a little work, but if I wanted to go to that much trouble and expense I would just go to the stereo store and get a new one. I was just looking for someone who wanted to get it out of their garage shelf

RCD, where are you located? I also have a 6disc changer and head unit from my 01 Supercrew that i took out when I bought it. The only thing is, that you'll have to get the cable that goes from the changer to the head unit, as most guys don't go thru the hassle of removing the cable because it's tied and taped into the factory harness.

If you're not intending on reusing the cable just cut it so there's something to put in the changer. I think that's what I'm going to do since it looks like the console has to come out to fpllow it. There's online wiring schematics to trace down from the head unit.
