Trying to plan a trip to Arkansas,,,,

Would like to see if anyone is from Arkansas and can share a little advice on places to go and things to see. Something that would be good family fun from toddler to teen. Haven't really set a specific area of the state, but have been reading about some stuff to do around the central part. We will be pulling our 5th wheel and looking for a good place to park that also.
Thanks

David, have you tried to post this in the AR chapter? I bet you will get lots of options. Have a fun trip. I love driving in the mountains over there.

Go to Crater of Diamonds State Park and go looking for diamonds with the kids! You can camp there too...it's in Murfreesboro (winter quarters of the Confederate Army).

Thanks for the info Rick. I'll try to post it there also.
Guess what Jeffrey, the seats are still sitting right where they were when I brought them home. I look at them all the time and think, you need to get those installed loser! I have the wiring figured out, just gotta make the time. I can always use the excuse that my daughter keeps me too busy, she is kind of demanding.
Neal, that is one of the locations we were thinking about. Thought the kids would like to find a BIG diamond.
Brad, I would like to find a good lake to park the 5th wheel while we check out the local areas. Thanks for the recommendations.
Rick, from what I've read so far there are lots of caves/caverns to explore. I am bettin' we end up doin' some of it.

Greers ferry lake, Lake ouachita, Crater of diamonds, Toltec mounds, Hot springs, Pinnacle mtn., Superlift ORV park, etc etc etc. Depends on what part of the state you'll be visiting and how long you're planning on staying.

Skip AR and come up to the lake of the ozarks or Branson in MO.. But if you must venture down there just remember the farther south you go the more simple the ppl are.. That's right I said it...

Thanks guys! So far the only thing for sure is hooking up and heading east. We've been to Branson area and up around Lake of the Ozarks. Very nice area to visit. We haven't really been East so thought we'd go that direction. Who knows, might end up in Tenn. From what I've seen on the web looks like we will probably hit the central part of Ark. and see what's around there.
