There's only one ranger. And I don't care for the yellow color.

Thanks Joe! I appreciate it. I just entered to boost up the beginning of that contest.

Alot of folks don't like the yellow, to each his own. I like it and thats what matters. If you take an interest in the Rangers, you know its an FX4 Level II. That last of its breed. When I really want to feel appreciated, I go to Ranger-Forums or a few others, then I feel right at home.

Again, thanks Joe! Not much Ranger support on here....

I like yellow. It is an awesome statement, "LOOK AT ME"! Sweet! Mine is white, BORING!

I like the simpleness of that white 1960's (F100?)! It is from a time when pickup trucks were real trucks. Professional types of people generally didn't want to be seen in them.

In the 1980's some trucks seemed to become more car like and they really evolved. The plush XLT's, Silverado's and Laramies got popular and were everywhere. It might be my imagination, but facelifts seemed to be done a quicker intervals too. The truck market got huge and there was now a truck for everyone. In the 1980's, Ranger sales were great, Dodge built the Dakota and GM 's S10 trucks could be had in all kinds of flavors.

Would trucks like the SVT's, Dodge R/T's and the GM Syclones sold well in the 1960's?

Good question, and I'd say probably not. At the time, trucks were strictly work vehicles, not grocery getters...I'd guess trucks used to be like what we'd think of an E-Series nowadays. My grandma once told me grandpa had a truck when they were dating, and she wouldn't be caught dead in it.

I've got the F-150 in the "contest"...don't be afraid to vote for me if you don't like yellow! I get the feeling there's a certain 3/4 ton that's stuffing the ballot box

The yellow Ranger is awesome. As far as "vote for your favorite Ranger" goes, amongst us fanatics there's no such thing as an unfavorite Ranger. The SD and Effies are nice, but compacts are not only the present, but the future.

How do I vote on there? Im voting for the yellow Level 2. Ive always liked the FX4 series that Ford has in both the F-series and Ranger, and the Level 2 is the groovy-est, man! Thoes super duitys are cool too.
