The picture looked like it was in car chassis, like maybe a Mustang or Aussie Falcon GT. I'd be curious to know whether Ford Australia will put them in Utes. If they do we may see a detuned version here in an F150.
If the 5.0 has 400 hp and tq, what will the BOSS 6.2 have?????????
The latest rumor on here is that the 6.2 might have 500hp.

Yeah, that looks a lot like the engine bay of a mustang to me. Camaro SS, you have been warned...... something wicked this way comes.
Even if it is detuned to say 360/380 in the truck, that would be more than enough for me personally. At 5.0 liters displacement and with DOHC & 4v/cylinder it should get pretty decent fuel mileage too.

The Camaro SS gets 426/420. 110 HP more than the current Mustang GT.
Yes, and yet with what would seem to be a huge power advantage, it is only marginally faster (.2-.3 sec faster 0-60, .5 sec faster in the quarter mile) in all the tests partly because it is heavier than the Mustang. When the lighter Mustang has a 400hp 5.0 I would say that time difference will vanish.
Sorry.

the Australian market gets all kind of wicked goodies that we can only dream of...I'm still waiting for their version of the Taurus (they call it the GT) to make it over here...a 5.4 4v in a 4 door family car
with the economy and other stuff, I figure it will take a few years minimum for the Coyote to make it to the USA...if ever.
Hope I'm wrong...but it seems Ford is hedging thier bets on the "Ecoboost" pos

I couldn't even see the 5.0 being put in the current model f150, try next redesign. I suppose it all depends on how far along the are in development but look how long it has taken the 6.2l to get where it is and it still isn't available in anything.
