My understanding is that the EB 3.5 could be turned way up in RWD applications. Its limited in FWD?/AWD applications due to the drivetrain not being able to handle anymore.
I keep hearing the 5L will be around 350/380 in the F150 and possibly 400/360 in the Mustang. But who knows at this point. Ford has done a good job keeping the lid on this for sure.

I don't see any new engines for 2010, unless you want a Rapture. There are a couple of new upgrades I like but not worth giving up my White Sand color, which will be gone.

I bought a '95 T-bird with a pearl paint job on it. It was the first year that this painting technique and color were available as it was told to me by the dealer. The went bad within 4 months and it took two years to get it right.

I say 2010, I'm actually pulling the trigger in late 2010 or early 2011. I'm just not the kind of guy that buys in the first year anymore.

As usual the Aussies get all the good stuff. But then they ony have 21.5M people in a land about 60% the size of lower 48 and no EPA to whine about things. Actually, I'd like to see 400 to 450 lbs./ft. of torque with about 350 hp. that would get 11 mpg pulling my car hauler and 19-20 mpg empty and I'd be a happy camper. I'd prefer it be a pushrod engine just because it's easier to work on. Since I do most of my own work and I'm at the age that the body isn't as flexible as it once was, ease of working on them is very important to me. If I had to have my work done it would still be a priority since lower flat rate times equall lower laber charges.
