steering clicking while turning

steering clicking while turning
A friend of mine has an 84 ford truck that he has just replaced the iginition switch actuator. after the replacement he has noticed a sligh clicking noise when turning. Its not a loud click just almost like it does when you turn and have the signals on and it kicks the signal off... any one got any suggestions on what might be causing this ... thanks
