My project...

Already ordered all the lightning ground effects...interior and everything. My f150 will look identical when all is said and done.. Also Instead of the regular F150 rims, I'm gonna put the 18x10 saleen rims in the back and the 18x9.5 up in front. That oughta add some beef to the back. And if that werent enough im throwing on a full kenny brown suspension setup, a crate 351 that cranks out 412HP and possibly even a blower to top that off.. I thought about buying a lightning but I would rather put to gether my own stuff and with all this I think for sure I can outrun any stock lightning. Also bigger brakes. Topped off with a cervini's RAM-AIR and in the sound department I will have 3 JL audio 10's behind the seat and a couple of amps,...not sure about the face unit yet though im still researching. All parts are ordered and project should be done within a month to 2 months if time and my job permit. Let me know what you guys think of this setup...

Where are you getting the 351 from? Just curious.

I ordered it from Coast High Performance..It was made for a mustang but with some tweaking they said I can fit it in there for sure, thats why im unsure about the blower because I don't know if there will be any room left to install it.

What year F-150? If you're talking about the Pre-'96 trucks, then a 351 and all kinds of various blowers will fit without problem. They fit 460s in there, after all. ;-)

What do you mean by "Bigger Brakes"? Braking in my F-350 is a real problem I would like "Bigger Brakes" if there is such a thing. I have spoken with Dean B. at ART (Applied Rotor Technologies) they make a frozen slotted rotor that is supposed to be real good... It better be at is over $300.00 a set. I await you response!

I have a 01 style side reg cab and was wanting to convert it as well (mostly just outside). Do you have recommendations on body kits, wheels, lowering kits, etc. Anything would be great.

Thanks,
Tim

Don't want to start any #%it but, what you are doing to your truck is great with one exception, putting on L badges, what's the point? With your set-up you don't need to lie about your truck.
