I saw this a few years ago.

As I recall it has a 460 and was running 10:50 with stock brakes.......

Gotta love it.

I like it. If that front end comes off the ground on launch It is one crazy ride with a straight axle. My buddy has one with a pro charger and last time he was at the strip he had a wild ride and won't go back until he has a different front end.

Straight axle racing FTW!!! With my extra F1 frame, I may do the same thing.

Notice the fenderwells. Either they just cut them out, or they used F2 and up fenders...and on the short bed?

Please do not run blocks in the front!!! This is not safe to do, Spend a few more bucks and get rearched springs (can be made at a local spring shop usually for right arounf 100 bucks)

as for expesive disc brake set up that's what I'm saving my pennies for as well (speedway has the kit for $250)

Whoa whoa whoa ----hold the phone - hold the phone here.

Flatheadjohn, am I mistaken or did you try, and almost get away with, profanity in your post......SBC....Turbo 350, and then have to make that poor 9" deal with it and try to pass it off as a hot F series power train?????

Oh my this IS a sad day...a man who's moniker makes us proud - our heritage and a SBC...Oh my, oh my.

Well, it seems the only available headers for a gasser style are for an SBC.
