Trans temp gauge

90 Bronco 5.0 I want to install a trans temp gauge. How hard? Any brand recommendations? any help or suggestions would be appreciated..

Trans temp gauge

Just pull off the pan and weld or braze a steel fitting to the side of the pan. I like mechanicial gauges for the better resolution.

Trans temp gauge

I put my temp sender inline with the cooling line, the preferred method is to mount the sender in the transmission's oil pan. Auto Meter and B&M make transmission temp gauges. I got a Motorcraft oil temp gauge and used that. I wanted the little Ford logo on the dial face to match the tach and vacuum gauge which are also Motorcraft. Besides, I think it's made by Auto Meter anyway.
