Bed Bolt pattern for 99-08

Will a bed from any year 99-08 bolt directly on to my frame, or do i have to get one from a 99-03? Reason i ask is mine is pretty beat up on the outside, and i have always wanted a dually so i was thinking of going to one of the local truck mod shops and seeing if they have an 08 bed that they would sell me.

Thanks, Austin

A new 08 bed will bolt on and line up there the same bed just different gate and lights. The new 08s however have 8 holes while your old bed has 6, all you have to do is drill two new holes its really no big deal. From what i remember those two holes go right where there is two rubber insulators the middle crossmeber sits on. Also save your wiring harness the 08 harness is different than ours.

I put an 08 bed on an 06 at work and we didn't have to drill any holes for that one either.

The SRW 8' beds usually run around $1,000 and 99% of them are white. Dually beds will be harder to come by since fleets ordering those will just order a cab & chasis model.

Nope you wouldnt because you dont have a 99, they changed them from 6 hole to 8 hole in 01. Ive put a few beds on 99 trucks from newer trucks. If you look at a 99 with the orginal bed it with have 6 bolts.
