i want to replace my computer chip on my '99 lightning. where is it located? also, does anyone know where i can get a repair manual for the '99 lightning?

Do you own the black L with the lightning bolts that was at E-town on the 23rd of March? That is one sharp truck, I was there but I did not get a chance to talk to you. What kind of chip do you plan on using? I have the PSP 4-way in my 00 L and I love it.

i have a 2001 lighting and was wondering about adding nitrous to it.can you do this ?what does this cost and how much horse will it give you?and how hard is it on the motor?

socalspeedshop.com has a NOS kit already tested on the 2000 and 2001. they say its about a 125HP boost!!! it sounds very easy to install also...

Uh, no.... Nitrous is not easy to properly install.

There are many things to keep in mind if Nitrous is in your plans.

Custom programmed chip.
New plugs (not platinum).
Fuel pressure.
Safety precautions(engine).
Warranty.

Do your research. There isn't a better mod out there for the track. Not something that you would want to use on the street though.
