so i went to head out my driveway and as soon as i pulled away my truck quit. Tried to start several times with no success and unfortunately had to have my brother pull me back in the driveway. i did all the usual checks with fuel pressure and spark and got nothing, however motor still cranks at normal starting rpms. i also noticed that none of the indicator lights work on the dashbut the instrament panel lights do come on. I'm thinking that it is probably the pcm. any thoughts? or suggestions on what else i should be checking

 

yup sounds like the pcm. if you turn the key to the on position and the check engine light does not come on, if it's not the bulb then the pcm is not working. Came across this problem on a chevy venture van. The power supply wire had not been installed correctly and eventually worked it's way out of the connection. The engine will still crank but no start.
