A couple questions?

hey,

i purchased a 99 lightning in february and the only thing i have done with it is change the oil. other than window tint and subwoofers, it is stock and i love it. i bought it essentially new with only 1500 miles, and saved a lot of money. other than power and some cosmetic differences, i don't think there is really much difference between the two. i encourage the purchase, but watch out, you can go through tires fast... especially the good year eagle f1's that come on it. they are expensive and have to be special ordered. keep that in mind.

A couple questions?

There's about a 25 horsepower increase for '01 and lower gearing. The '01's are quicker. The '99's did have a leaking intercooler problem that affected SOME trucks. If the price is right go '99, if it's within $3000 I'd go '01 IMHO.
