I know this site is called FTE, but you have to honestly look at the Silverado and Sierra as the same truck, and it outsold Ford. Sorry, but you can claim Ford is #1 by brand name only.

Nissan was negotiating a deal to dump the Titan and sell rebadged Rams. This whole Chrysler bankruptcy thing with Fiat, im sure has killed that, for now.

actualy that is a bit of Ford bad mojo for many years..

if u combine both Chevy and GMC truck sales annualy (and u should really) they always outsell Ford i beleive...

not sure why Chevy or GMC never make any real stink over it, maybe cuz on some internal level each truck is different, but from a real world setting the only difference is the Emblems..

It's nice to hear that Fords still on top. After our government gets done with GM and Chrysler, Ford might be the only one left.

I agree with you 100% but I should warn you that speaking the truth around here can get you on the bad side of alot of people.

I'm aware that the Chevy and GM trucks actually outsell Ford trucks. I just never understood why GM didn't just get rid of GMC to save some money. Then GM would be on top with truck sales.

Its marketing terminology only. The title says trucks, that is not true as the numbers are broken down by models not by trucks because if was trucks then GM would lead the pack.

I enjoyed seeing how the Ranger outsold the Colorado, and the Frontier in the small truck segment. It did get blown away by the Tacoma though. Maybe a little advertising may help.

My local dealership only has one or two on their lot at any given time.

No doubt. Ranger FTW!!! Dealers around where I am at (Central Indiana) can't keep Rangers on the lot. It is crazy. Probably because they are relatively inexpensive to buy and own/operate plus Ford can boast it as the most fuel-efficient truck in its class, just like F150.

Anyways...wasn't F150 best selling vehicle in the US and world for some time as wel?l

Notice the Dodge had the lowest negative sales figures in the pack. Ford has the lowest incentives and the least comprehensive warranty of the nig three and yet they continue to dominate.

The Ranger and Tacoma have pretty much stayed close to mini-truck roots, the Colorado has not. Toyota continues to restyle every few years and Ford? I think they want to dump the Ranger, like the Crown Vic, but instead let it die a slow death by not updating it. Why?

Like the World Ranger? That would be great to have. Rumors are floating around that we are getting those after US Ranger is cancelled.

Doesn't make sense to me either. For that reason I'm sorry to say I'd buy a Tacoma first, that and their 2.7l appeals to me.
