99 Roush steering problems?

My buddy has a 99 Roush f150. He had the upper a arms replaced and now the steering is horrible. At low speed it seems fine but as it gets up to about 35mph if you barely turn the steering wheel it darts into what ever direction you turn. He bought O'Riely upper a arms with the ball joints in them. After he had them installed it looks like the top of the tire is leaned in worse than before. Any help you guys have is greatly appreciated.

did he have it aligned?

and are the new upper arms the same size as the Roush stuff?

Roush usually spec's out there stuff different from OEM Ford parts. Usually the ride height is lower, and the spring rate is stiffer

sounds like he might have put OEM upper arms on and they are a different size from the Roush version

I will ask him if he still has the Roush arms and check. That sounds like that could be it. I knew that it looked like a road race car afterwards with the way the wheels were set in at the top. Thanks and I will get with him about the a arm lengths.

aint that the truth, at the local oil changing station instead of changing the oil, they just added to it. so it took me a week to figure out why it was running so *****ty, and when i drained the oil 2 times the opperating amount came pouring out.
