Does seem quiet, I took a nap earlier, and now i know I will be up all night. thats ok, I work night shift, and go back out tomorrow night, so I will be right on schedule.

It started to rain here agin, so it was perfect napping weather.

It's about the same here. Just a drizzle on the way home from work.

The grass is growing fast with all this rain and no chance to cut it, by the time the rain stops I will have a hay field. Anybody have a hay baler?

Hello Pennsylvania. No rain around here today, now maybe my lawn will slow down a bit. Had it cut Saturday so today is a rake day, my lawn was so overgrown the clumps of cut grass hide the fresh cut. I figure about 5 bags, my son is headed to the gym, he doesn't believe raking the lawn is good exercise. If I can figure a way to package mowing and raking the lawn into an exercise video and show how it'll develop the abs, gluts and arms, strengthen your cardiovascular system, make you look ten years younger and work better than Viagra, people will buy it, I'll have more money for my truck and get my lawn done for free.

How many off you guys are going to Beast's house on the 16th for his pig roast?

LOL - I just came from the gym...although my whole backyard is on about a 6% slope and I mow with a pushmower, so that's a workout in and of itself.

Unfortunately, I won't be at Beast's party - I have a friend's wedding to attend that day and I figure that won't be done til late.

I just drive the old lawn tractor to cut my grass then hook up the lawn sweeper to clean up the clippings but still takes about 1.5 to 2 hours after trimming.

The rain is still coming down, might be a good time to start building an ARK.

I started mine and the sun came out. I don't expect it to last though. Rivers are running high around here right now and they did have flood watches out, but I figure any amount of time without rain may alleviate that threat.

Yeah, the clouds are starting to roll in a little. Just in time for me to don a suit and tie and go to a formal function too!

I think I'm going to try to cut the grass before the next batch of rain moves in.
