Okay, we need a few ground rules here. The author's intent was that we have a quick way to browse photos of each other.
Please post only photos of yourself. Do not reply to the posts. Please use the chat thread for that. Do not discuss picture hosting or other off topic issues. Start a new thread for that or find the appropriate forum to post in. Yes, we do have a Photo Posting forum where you can find help!
Post back here as often as you want, but you must include a new photo of yourself that you havn't already posted. No truck photos please. Unless you are in the photo too!
Thank you!
Okay, now so I don't make rules and proceed to break them...

Sorry boys. It looks like I havn't yet figured out the whole handsome, happy, smiling thing either. So don't be like me. When someone points a camera at you try and pretend to look like you really care about anyone else but yourself, smile for the ladies and for gawd's sake don't poop yer pants!

To demonstrate why I don't smile, here's the only pic of me I could find where I attempted to smile.Pic has been kept to a small size to prevent computer monitors from breaking.
I HATE smiling.
That reminds me.I have senior pictures tomorrow for school.I hope they can find a way to get me to smile.
The pic also reminds me that my ex gf never gave me that hat back either....

Well you got a workable smile there, dude. Keep practicing. You show great promise. Any doubts, contact thedivineMiss_Em@FTE.com. FWIW, a HS GF is never considered an ex. Forget about it and don't look back.
Josh, that is one handsome suit, my man. That alone is worth smiling over!
Okay, now to supply more of my own humiliation. Playing soldier...

Thank you, Em. That soldier photo was loose in a drawer and I scanned it. I don't even know where the original is now.
All grown up now, but still a little boy at heart, playing soldier. This photo was taken with long obsolete photo equipment. I'm not sure if it's called tintype or if there's another name for it. The image is on a thin copper plate. The photographer coated the plate with photographic emulsion in his portabe darkroom and loaded several of these plates into lightproof holders. The holder is then inserted into the tripod mounted camera which is built out of wood and is about the size of a 25 inch TV.
Once in the camera, the cover is slid out of the holder containing the emulsion coated metal plate. Once photographer's subjects are posed, he then tells them hold as still as possible while he removes the lens cover from the camera and counts 1..2..3....... then puts the lens cap back on. The image is now exposed on the silver halide emulsion coated metal plate.
The photographer returns to his darkroom with the covered plate holders, removes the plates and processes them in trays of photo chemical. The resulting image is a positive, not a negative. So the prismic quality of the camera lens causes the image to be reversed. So in this case, despite how it looks, we are all holding our pistols in our right hand.
