Wiring - looking for a "hot" 12V

I would like to locate a "hot" 12v constant on wire inside the cab on the drivers side and also the passenger side if at all possible. I know the fuse box is on the passenger side but the wires are so bundled up and access behind the fuse box is very impossible without taking it off.

2009 Ford F150 - 4x4 - Lariat

I would like to connect a wire splice to the wire so I can "hard" wire in my radar detector, gps etc.

In addition to the constant "hot" wire I also need a wire which is only on when the ignition is on.

All of the lighter sockets in the car are constant on devices.

Will need approximate location of wire and the actual color.

I would also like to know the same (constant on and ignition on) back near the trailer hitch under the truck - may add a few lights etc.

Your help is much appreciated.

buy you another 12v aux socket from your local auto parts and wire it in with the one in your dash, then mount it to one of the brackets back there. with that in there you dont have to cut any wires on your radar, just simply plug it in like you would do with the one on your dash, that way if you decide to upgrade or if that radar goes out you dont have to worry about cutting wires, just unplug and plug a new one in.

That is a good idea.

Does anyone know what color wire goes to the lighter socket on the dash? What about the one in the center box?

Do not really want to rip apart all the dash covers if I can locate a wire more in the open.

Just came across a great way to tap ones fuse box to get auxiliary power to wire in a radio, gps, radar detector etc.

It is a Littelfuse FHA200BP ATO Add-A-Circuit Kit.
add-a-circuit-kit

I actually purchased a Bussmann version at my local AutoZone.
