First off welcome to FTE. Thanks for stopping into the BC Chapter. If you desire it is simple to join the chapter by clicking on the link in my sig. Where abouts in BC are you located?

Here are a couple of forums you can check out to get some detailed info and advice about your truck and what you want to do with it.

I am useless to you as far as help goes.

They just keep me here, so the BC chapter has at least one handsome man, thats all.

But welcome to the forums, and I am sure you can find a ton of info here at FTE.
I see our fearless leader Chris has already given you several links to explore.
The search button also could help a tone.
If you still do not get he info needed, go to the appropriate area, and you can start a thread asking why.

As a former 460 owner owner ( twice) they are a great motor, but suck back gas faster that Oprah can eat jelly donuts, so just know that going in.
Gas stations will be your new hangout.....lol

As leader of the chapter it is my duty to help/hinder members whenever necessary. I am just preforming my required duties.

trucksick: Hello and welcome to this forum. Take Saleenguy's comments to heart before you do this conversion. I have a '76 with the 460 and it is a very good engine but I can't recommend it. Forgive me for raining on your parade but there are many other engines you could use instead that will deliver good power and use 1/2 the fuel. What about a Merc 300 turbo diesel complete with autobox? You can pick one up at a good price these days... Take the time to really do your homework on this topic. BTW, I have a low mileage 460 you can have (there is a good worktruck around it) - it's on the Sunshine coast.

All the best whatever you do!
