The longest I drove without a break for sleep was about 26 hours, and that was after having been up already for about five hours.
I was driving by myself, and after the truck broke down, I had to make the weekly ferry departure to Alaska or wait another week in Bellingham, WA.
That was a tough ride praying for daylight.

Life is good...car sales are OK...not great...but not terrible either. I had my best month in a long time last month...hope to build off of that this month. We sold 2 on Friday...9 on Saturday...2 on Sunday. I work at least 1 Sunday per month...more if we run a special sale. That's what precluded me from attending the joint GTG last month. I also will pick up the odd Sunday if I have appointments...it's retail...you have to be there when the customers are.
