If the CEL does come on, then you need to listen to see if the fuel pump primes. If it doesn't prime then I'd swap the fuel pump relay with one of the other relays (but not the PCM relay). Try swapping it with the WOT (wide open throttle) relay.

Hello, I dont have those relays in my box. In fact i just have a single row of high amp large sized fuses. The 95 and up seem to come with the relays in the power dist box. Not sure where to go now. As this is an intermittent problem, I am not able to reproduce it at will.

i found the fuel pump relay hidden under the power dist box and under another plastic cover. It was 9 bucks so i replaced it. So far so good. I also bought a new fuel filter (next up to install) thanks so far guys !

If you are going to replace the fuel filter, make sure you have the disconnect tool. Hopefully, the FP relay will resove your problem.
